The Tarot tool uses a public repository I maintain:
sarah-frota/tarot-data — 78 Rider-Waite cards in JSON format, with meanings and public domain images (1909 artwork by Pamela Colman Smith).
Data is loaded from GitHub raw content. No personal data is sent. The repository is public — anyone can use it.
How to use the Tarot Reader
- Choose your spread: Card of the Day (1 card), Past-Present-Future (3 cards), or Celtic Cross (10 cards).
- Enter a question: Optional — helps focus your reading on a specific area of your life.
- Shuffle: Click Shuffle to randomize the deck using cryptographically secure randomness.
- Draw cards: Tap cards from the deck to fill your reading table in order. Each card selected is removed from the deck.
- Reveal meanings: Once your table is full, tap each card to reveal its meaning — the card flips to show its image and meaning.
- Explore details: Click any revealed card to open the detail panel with the full meaning and audio guide.
